Judith "Judi" Majewski

Judith (Judi) Majewski, age 65, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 15, 2022. She was born November 19, 1956 in Milwaukee, WI to her loving parents Arno and Dorothy Hinrichs. Judi is survived by her husband, Michael; her two children, Melissa and Katherine; siblings, Michael (Carol) Hinrichs, Susan Banse, and Robert (Joanne) Hinrichs. Judi is preceded in death by her parents. Judi had a “can do” attitude in everything from baking to home projects. If it wasn’t clear how to do something then massive internet searching was done, diagrams drawn and redrawn, lists made and several versions created until it met her approval. One year, she made three red velvet cakes for her daughter’s birthday because she would not stop until it was just right. A field stone wall that she built by herself still stands as a testimonial to her determination. For 20 years Judi worked as a teacher’s aid in the 4K program for the Oconomowoc Area School District. She was fondly known as “Mrs. M” and had numerous funny stories of the things that happen with 4K kids. In June of 2015 Judi was diagnosed with cancer. She courageously fought this disease for almost seven years before her death. Her family would like to thank Dr. Janet Turner and Dr. Hamid Saadati and the nursing and administrative staff at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital Cancer Center for caring for Judi and keeping her with us. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. Judi will be laid to rest at Wisconsin Memorial Park next to her parents in a private family ceremony.
