Julie Johnson

Julie Johnson age 55, of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2010 after a courageous five year battle with cancer. Julie is survived by her loving husband Bob, children Robbie and Annie, mother Priscilla Colosimo, brother JerryColosimo, sisters Judy (Milo) Moore, Jackie (Dick) Henning, Jan Colosimo and Jenny Naus. Julie is survived by other relatives and dear friends in Oconomowoc. Julie was preceded in death by her father, Robert Colosimo. Julie was an active member and past board member of the Oconomowoc YMCA. Julie and her family are members of the LaBelle Yacht Club and she served as president of the LaBelle Yacht Club Sailing School. Julie and her family are members of the Ausblick Ski Club and she served as program coordinator for the Ausblick Ski Race Team. Julie and her family are members of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Oconomowoc. Julie changed careers in 1992 after fifteen years of service at AT&T (formerly Ameritech & Wisconsin Bell) to dedicate her life to raising her children with her husband. A memorial service for Julie will be held on December 29th, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 815 Concord Road, Oconomowoc, WI 53066. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. After the service Julie’s family and friends will be hosting a “Celebration of Julie’s Life” at the Johnson residence. All are welcome. Memorials to the Julie Johnson Memorial Fund are appreciated. Donations to this fund will go to the Edna Gladney Adoption Center, Ft. Worth, TX, AngelsGrace Hospice and to assist with her children’s college education. The family would like to thank Dr. Albertini and the entire staff at the UW Cancer Center along with the entire staff at AngelsGrace Hospice.
