Karen Ann Meer

Karen A. Meer (nee Ziegler), age 60 of Oconomowoc, passed away suddenly with her loved ones by her side on Monday, December 15, 2014. Karen is survived by her loving husband Tom, sister Lauren (Greg) Lang, mother Dolores Ziegler-Schilling along with many brother/sister-in laws, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father LeRoy W. Ziegler. Karen aka Madame Whimsey utilized her art teaching degree to reach out and touch her customer's child-like playfulness through the creation of her bears. The evolution of creating and designing has always been a natural and yet mysterious part of Karen's life. She will be dearly missed by many. A celebration of Karen's life will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family of Karen Meer to assist with funeral expenses.
