Karen L. Borkenhagen

Karen L. Borkenhagen, age 79 of Oconomowoc, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013. Karen is survived by her brothers Herbert (June) Borkenhagen Jr. and Donald (Veronica) Borkenhagen, sister Nancy Kaempfer, sister-in-law Janet Borkenhagen, along with many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Edna Borkenhagen, brother Robert Borkenhagen, sister Janet Kasun, brothers-in-law Charles Kasun and Roy Kaempfer and sister-in-law Irene Borkenhagen. A memorial service for Karen will be Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Shorehaven in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the charity of one's choice. Karen enjoyed spending time on the lake with family and friends. Her activities included sailing, water skiing and snowmobiling. She was a very special lady who will be deeply missed by all.
