Karen Nicholson

Karen Emily Nicholson, age 78, lifetime resident of Town of Summit and member of Christ the King Church, passed away December 6, 2020 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. She was born May 13, 1942 to Helen and Hilding Nicholson. Karen spent her life in the service of others, working at Bethesda in her later years. She was passionate about her religion and all things in nature, and was also the proud owner of her dog, Treasure. She enjoyed scuba diving, bird watching, traveling, Diet Coke and stinky cheese. She was loved by God, family, friends and her dog. She will be missed. Surviving are her brother, Carl/Gwen Nicholson and sister in law, Patricia Nicholson; nephews and nieces: Daniel/Susan Nicholson, Timothy/Megan Nicholson, Michael/Jenn Nicholson, Brent/Marge Nicholson, Mark/Paula Nicholson, Kirsten/Dave Walker and many great-nieces and -nephews. Karen was close to her cousin Caroline Arndt. She had many great friends though out her years especially, Shirley Ballard. She has preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gary Nicholson. A Celebration of Karen’s Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Christ the King Church, 1600 N. Genesee St., Delafield, WI. A visitation for friends and family will be held from 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Christ the King Church, until time of service at 3:00 pm. The service will be recorded and available on: You Tube/Christ the King/Delafield, within a few days. Dinner to follow service. Inurnment will be held at 10 am, Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, 3110 W. Forest Home Ave., Milwaukee, WI.
