Karen Nosek

Karen Nosek, age 67, of Oconomowoc, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2010. Karen is survived by children Wes (Rebecca) Nosek of Oconomowoc, Dave (Emmie) Nosek of Oconomowoc, Liz (Bill) Tetting of Oconomowoc, parents Wesley and Dorothy Podany, sister Claire Anne (Duane) Robinson, brother James (Linda) Podany, sister Janelle (Gil) Flores, grandchildren Jonah, Ellis., Faith, Hannah, Ella, Mackenzie and Will, who all called her, ?Mimi Kar?, along with many other relatives and friends. Karen was preceded in death by brother Wesley ?George? Podany and grandmother Ella Podany. A memorial service for Karen will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at Oakwood Church, 3041 Oakwood Road, Hartland, WI. Visitation will be held at the church from 5:00 P.M. until time of service. A private burial took place on Saturday, May 15, 2010 for the family. Memorials are suggested to Oakwood Church or Ovarian Cancer Research Fund 14 Pennsylvania Plaza, Suite 1400, New York, NY 10122. Karen was an avid bridge player. She was very committed and involved in her church and serving the Lord. She loved being around her grandchildren, who called her ?Mimi Kar?. Karen was a special mother and grandmother who will forever be in our hearts. We love you and miss you.
