Kathryn B. Sedlmayr

SEDLMAYR, Kathryn Bernice (nee McGill), age 91, of Madison, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 12, 2011. Kathryn is survived by her children Allene (William) Peebles of Oconomowoc, Gary Sedlmayr of Madison and Jerry (Karen) Friday of Poynette. She is also survived by brother Ray McGill of Georgia and sister Madeline Webster of Florida along with many cousins. Kathryn was a loving grandmother to nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Nellie McGill (nee Pettit) of Iowa, sisters Marguerite Barker of Illinois, Frances Birka of Iowa and LaVonne Wright of Florida. Kathryn retired from Central Wisconsin Center of Madison after 15 years of service. She was loved and will be fondly remembered by many friends, relatives and all that knew her. A memorial service for Kathryn will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, 11:00 AM, at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 209 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Oconomowoc, WI 53066. Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 AM until time of service with a luncheon to immediately follow the service. Inurnment will take place at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia at 2:30 PM. Memorials to the Wisconsin Parkinsons Foundation or AlS Foundation are appreciated.
