Kaycee Ann Hasse was born to her parents William and Kathryn Hasse in Staunton, Illinois and later grew up in the Milwaukee suburb of Wauwatosa with her sister Diane and brothers Glen and Dennis. After graduating from the Holy Angels Academy high school, through a mutual friend a few years later, met her husband Denny Niederkorn and were married on August 8th, 1969. They continued living in Milwaukee where they had her first child Joseph Patrick. During that time, Kaycee worked as a pediatrician’s assistant, a job she talked about cheerfully for a long time after.
Kaycee and Denny next moved to Wisconsin Rapids where they had her second son Jesse James. There, they managed the multiple family apartment building they lived in while Denny worked for Nekoosa Paper during the day. After a few years living in the Rapids and making many friends who will miss her, they moved to the Twin Cities suburb of St. Louis Park where both began new jobs. Dennis started working for Sentry Insurance and Kaycee for General Mills, which she thoroughly enjoyed and always spoke highly of her time there.
In 1978, her family moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota where she ran her own successful house cleaning business and would live for the next couple of decades raising her two sons. She genuinely enjoyed attending both of her sons’ year-round sporting events. She was an avid, long-time fan of tennis and was always on top of the major players and tournaments, with her favorite being Wimbledon. She was an enthusiastic member of the Woodlake Tennis Club in Sioux Falls and enjoyed playing leagues in the game she loved. She was also always committed to attending Catholic Mass on Sundays.
After both of her sons had graduated from high school, Kaycee sought to adventure out to Las Vegas, Nevada where she would eventually become a phenomenally successful seller of time share properties for Polo Towers for over a decade. Thousands of people across our country would become part of her social circle, including the friends she made in her industry. She genuinely enjoyed living in the exciting sights and sounds of Las Vegas.
Kaycee throughout her life had to overcome the bad luck of severe arthritis, having a total of five hip replacements and two shoulder replacements. Her health situation would eventually require her to leave Las Vegas and make her way back to the state where she grew up. She spent the last 15 years of her life in her home, Wisconsin.
Kaycee will be missed by her sons Joseph Niederkorn and his wife Lynnae of Reno, Nevada, and Jesse Niederkorn and his wife Catherine along with their two children Emily and Oscar, of Manchester, England.
Kaycee overachieved in life because of her own hard work.
Her star will shine above.
