Keith Ackerman

age 52, of Jefferson, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Keith is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Linda and his son Kyle Ackerman of Waukesha. He is also survived by his mother Jill (step father Walter) of Venice, FL, brother Scott Ackerman of Venice FL, sister Heather (Michael) Cosky of Atlanta, GA, mother in law Rose Popanz of Englewood, FL, brother in law Mike Popanz of Englewood, FL and sister in laws Angie of Albermarle, NC, and Dawn Shaw of Sarasota, FL. Along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends. Keith is preceded in death by his father Richard Ackerman Keith was born in Venice FL on August 20, 1958 to Richard and Jacqueline Ackerman. He graduated from Venice high school and then went on to graduate from Florida State University. After graduation Keith and Linda lived in Tallahassee, FL and then moved to the lake country area 15 years ago. Keith has worked in the software business for his entire career and for the past 15 years for Software One where he was a mentor, a leader and a friend who has inspired many associates along the way. In Keith’s spare time he loved being an avid amateur photographer. He was a passionate gardener, a certified storm watcher and was a sand hill crane watcher/counter. A celebration of Keith’s life will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. with a visitation starting at 9:00 A.M. all to be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home.
