Kelly J. Houk (nee Wendt) of Oconomowoc, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on October 27, 2021. Kelly was born in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin on January 16, 1969 to David and Judith (nee Chase) Wendt. Kelly is survived by her loving daughter, Bridget Burgett of Oconomowoc; her beautiful grandson Aiden O’Brien; her former husbands, who she was very close with, Scott Houk of Oconomowoc and Jeff Burgett of Sussex; along with many close family and friends. Kelly is preceded in death by her parents. Kelly was a dedicated employee to Peterbilt, where she was the service manager, Inland Diesel as a service writer and Harley Davidson Motor Company as a Lead US Warranty Analyst. Kelly loved her family, friends, and her pets. She held a special place in her heart for her bulldogs, Moe, Roxy and Matilda. Kelly also enjoyed motorcycling, her Irish heritage and spending time at the park with her grandson. Kelly loved the outdoors and going on walks and hikes her with daughter. Kelly looked forward to her yearly Florida trips, she cherished her 1979 Firebird and listening and dancing to music. Kelly would like to be remembered for her witty sense of humor, her strong work ethic and the value she placed on spending time with her family and friends. Kelly would want us not burdened with these times of sorrow; she would wish us all the sunshine of tomorrow. Summit Avenue, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 1:00pm-3:00pm with a service to follow.
