Kenneth Alfred Henrichs

Kenneth Alfred Henrichs entered eternal life at age 96 on October 20, 2023 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 15, 1927 in Milwaukee to Lydia and Ervin Henrichs. He grew up in Milwaukee and as a young man worked in the family appliance business.

At age 18, he entered the U.S. Army, stationed in Colorado until his discharge. He returned to the business and attended U.W. Milwaukee. In 1958, he married Vera (Klement), his loving wife of 65 years.

Thereafter, he worked in the Ad Dept of the Waukesha Freeman, then was the Oconomowoc Enterprise Ad manager. He was a 33° Mason of Lafayette Lodge #265 of the Free and Accepted Masons, Scottish Rite, Tripoli Shrine, Oconomowoc Rotary, and Associate Guardian of Bethel #35 of the International Order of Job’s Daughters for many years.

Ken is survived by his wife Vera, daughter Debra (Gary) Englehart and son Barry (Cathy) Henrichs. He was a proud grandfather of Grace and Bryce Henrichs, Derek (Charity) Englehart and great grandfather of Kara and Eric Englehart. Also survived by nephews and cousins.

Ken is preceded in death by his brother, Lester Poggenburg.

Visitation Saturday, October 28, 10:00 am, service at 11:00. Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 800 Lake Dr., Oconomowoc. Requested memorials to the church.
