Kenneth 'Ken' Tyley, age 97, of Dousman, WI formerly from Toronto, Canada, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 16, 2016. Ken is survived by his children Sue (Steve) Putman and Robert (Jodi) Tyley; his grandchildren Molly (Brian) Teets, Melissa (Mark) Holland, Daniel (Lauren) Putman, Ellen (Damian) Kuhirtt, Jeffrey (Anna), Lisa, Nathan and Natalie Tyley and his great grandchildren Benjamin and Andrew Teets, Claire and Sean Putman. Ken is preceded in death by his loving wife Marie of 59 years and his sister Dorothy (Joe) Seyller. Ken Tyley was a highly decorated pilot in World War II having served in the Canadian Air Force from 1939 to 1945. He received the Crouix de Guerre medal for accomplishments over and above the call of duty in France. When not on missions in Europe, Tyley was a flight instructor at Camp Borden in Ontario. Services for Ken will be held at Three Pillars (375 Hwy 67, Dousman, WI) in the Ewald Chapel on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 1pm. A visitation for family and friends will start at 12:30pm. A special thanks to the staff at Three Pillars Riverside Lodge for their loving care during the final days of his life.
