Larry F. Waters

Larry F. Waters, age 84, passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2024. Larry was born in Oconomowoc, WI on April 24, 1939 to Harry and Norma (nee Labs)

Larry is survived by his children Daniel (Kathy), Timothy, John (Pam), Kurt, Annie (Darrell) Springhetti; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters Janice (d. Roger) Clark and Betty (Terry) Dow; sister-in-law Victoria; along with other family and friends.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents; brother Wallace.

Larry was a passionate outdoorsman, finding joy in hunting, fishing, and golf. He had a special talent for creating with his hands and found solace and creativity in playing the guitar. Friends and family were of great importance to him, and he cherished each moment spent with them. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The outpouring of support and kindness from his friend Bruce Hanson and neighbors during his time of need was truly appreciated and will never be forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Larry’s name are welcome.

A visitation to honor and celebrate Larry's life will take place on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church (470 N Oak Crest Dr, Wales, WI 53183) from 1:pm-3:00pm with a service to follow.
