Laverne Margaret Hazard

LaVerne M. Hazard (nee Thompson), 85, of Dousman, passed away peacefully at Three Pillars on Thursday, October 17, 2013. LaVerne is survived by her brothers James (MaryEllen) Thompson and Fred Thompson along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. LaVerne is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Phillip, son James Hazard, parents Fred and Susan Thompson and brothers Leroy and Robert Thompson. LaVerne and Philip were longtime residents of Lower Nemahbin Lake where they enjoyed fishing, boating and spending time with their family and friends. Funeral services for LaVerne will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 12:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. LaVerne will be laid to rest at Summit Cemetery following the service.
