Lawrence Greenwald, age 92 of Sullivan, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011. Lawrence is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ethel (nee Block), children Allen (Charlotte) Greenwald and Dolly (David) DuPree, sisters Lorraine Merske and Marion Daebel, grandchildren Tara (Miles) Lesperance, Jennifer (Scott) Bresnahan, Andrew Stephan, Michael (Jackie Poppe) Greenwald, Shaun (Shelley Busko) Greenwald, Quentin DuPree and Joshua (Emily) DuPree, great grandchildren Tyler, Robbie, Hailey, Bryan, Aleah, Danielle, George and Kiley, along with other relatives and friends. Lawrence was preceded in death by his son Daniel Greenwald, brother Edward Greenwald and sister Berniece Greenwald. Funeral services for Lawrence will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of service. Memorials are suggested to American Heart Association, 208 S. LaSalle Street Suite 1500, Chicago, IL 60604-1242 or HAWS, 701 Northview Road, Waukesha, WI 53188. Lawrence loved going to dances with Ethel in their younger years and he always enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed and always in the hearts of those who loved him.
