Leah L Schlieve

Leah L. Schlieve, age 94 of Toland in the Town of Ashippun, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, August 21, 2016. Leah is survived by her loving children Joanne (John) Henderson, Nancy (Don) Griesmer, Sandra (Paul) Goetzke and Gary (Kathleen) Schlieve. She is further survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 Great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren along with nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Leah was preceded in death by her husband Elliott, her five siblings, a granddaughter Amy Graham and a great grandson David Starr. A funeral service for Leah will be on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 12:00 PM with a visitation for family and friends starting at 10:00 AM all to be held at St. Olaf's Lutheran Church in Rubicon WI with burial to follow at the church cemetery. Memorials are suggested to church or to donors choice. Leah was a previous winner of the Wisconsin Homemaker of the Year in 1954. She loved gardening and baking and enjoyed making family meals for the entire family. She will be deeply missed by her family and all that knew her.
