Lester Schmitz

age 92, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010. Survived by wife Alice, daughter Patricia (Darrell) Seeley and son Gregory. Loving grandfather of Joanne and Erik Odden, Pamela (Michael) Johnson, great grandfather of Anders Odden, Carter and Sophia Johnson. Lester was a veteran of the Western WWII Theater and served in the Army Signal Corps. Lester was a long term electrician for the Minneapolis Public Schools. Lester was preceded in death by his loving parents Frances and Clem Schmitz, brothers Duke and Gordon and sister Vera Madden. Funeral services for Lester will be held on Monday, December 27, 2010, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1600 N. Genesee Street, Delafield, WI 53018 at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of service. Internment will take place at Crystal Lake Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.
