Lillian M. Cartwright

Lillian May Cartwright (nee Trefny), “Lil”, age 85 of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully at AngelsGrace Hospice with her family by her side on Friday, June 5, 2015. Lillian is survived by her children Christina (Michael L.) Archie and Christal (Keith Staude) Cartwright, grandchildren Nancy (Michael) Burkard, Michael S. Archie Jr., Cassie Schneider and Jacob (Jenna) Schneider, great-grandchildren Hannah, Mason and Sadie Schneider, Alicia and Joshua Wollinger along with great-great grandchildren Nadia and Elena. Lillian is preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Cartwright, parents John and Eva Trefny, and brother Johnny Trefny. A funeral service will take place for Lillian on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 3:00 PM with a visitation to start at 1:00 PM all to take place at Pagenkopf Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to AngelsGrace Hospice. Lillian enjoyed gardening, cooking, drawing, logic puzzles, family crafts and animals. She cooked for the Redemptorist Retreat House, worked with her husband in the construction and plumbing business, was involved with catering for St. Bruno’s Catholic Church and was a Catechist. Lillian owned her own plastic business, flea marketer and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Taking care of people was her joy and passion.
