Linda Lou Fredricksen

Linda Lou Fredricksen, age 75, of Oconomowoc, WI entered into eternal life on December 28, 2019 surrounded by the love of her family. Linda was born in Providence, RI to Betty Lou (Glendenning) Smoke and Clarence (Chris) Christian and raised by her stepfather, John (Jack) Smoke, who have preceded her in death. She attended Portage High School in Michigan and she is a Dubuque University alumnus. She spent her career in financial services and retired from Discover Card. Linda deeply enjoyed spending time with her family; was a natural caregiver and spent her free time post-retirement volunteering at Cheff Therapeutic Riding Center and the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra. Linda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Ronald Fredricksen, children, Heather Schaefer and her husband Steve, son Jon Roberts and his wife Jennifer, 3 grandchildren, Madison, Ashlyn and Lauren as well as numerous extended family including step-children, step-grandchildren and other relatives. Linda’s wishes were to forgo a funeral service, but if desired, friends may make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warriors.
