Lisa Marie Ott, age 55, of Dousman, WI, formerly of Quechee VT, passed away on 9/8/2024 at
AngelsGrace Hospice with her brother, Bart, by her side. Lisa battled colon cancer for 5 years.
Lisa was preceded in death by her partner Gerald Brown, her father Guy Ott, and her
grandparents John and Mary Bolskar and George and Olivia Ott.
(Cathy) Ott and Keith (Tammy) Ott. Lisa is also survived by nieces/nephews Casey (Amy) Ott,
Brodi (Jordan Van Riper, Devan (fiance Kiera) Ott, Cory (Kacey) Ott, Emily Ott, Harrison (fiance
Grace) Ott, Sam Ott, Trystan Ott, and Olivia Ott. Lisa was a proud great aunt to Owen and
Melanie Ott, Ayla, Alora and Adalee Van Riper, and Easton Ott. Lisa is further survived by other
relatives and many friends and co-workers across the United States as well as her beloved dog,
Sheldon.
Lisa loved all things Vermont, hiking (especially in the Fall), traveling, running, and
most of all, spending time with all of her family. Lisa was a dedicated daughter, sister,
sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt and friend. She enjoyed hearing about activities and events
everyone was involved in and tried to attend as many games/performances/gatherings as
possible. Lisa worked remotely for TechCXO (GA) as an accountant and touched the lives of
many co-workers across the country. She will be remembered by all for her kindness,
dedication,stubbornness, and her smile and laugh.
Lisa did not want a funeral and wished for her ashes, along with Jerry’s ashes, to be spread
in Green Mountain National Forest in Texas Falls, Hancock VT. Donations to AngelsGracee
Hospice or a cause you shared in common with Lisa would greatly be appreciated. The
family gratefully thanks the nurses and staff at ProHealth Care Home Hospice as well as at
AngelsGrace Hospice for her special care. Your dedication and love were apparent each
and everyday.
