Lois Smith

Lois Smith, age 96, of Oconomowoc, WI went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the Towner Crest senior living community in Oconomowoc. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday March 27, 2022 at Kettle Moraine United Presbyterian Church, N66 W32690 County K, Stone Bank, WI. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will be held at a date to be determined in Union Cemetery, Vienna, WI. The Pagenkopf Funeral Home of Oconomowoc, WI is assisting with arrangements. Lois was born Lois Elinor Anderson on July 14, 1925 to Andrew and Ethel (Gustafson) Anderson in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Morgan Park High School. Lois and Silas “Clinton” Smith were united in marriage on January 21, 1944 in New Bern, NC. She was a home maker during the time Clinton served in the Marine Corp for 21 years. They resided in Texas before moving to Westport, WI in 2005 where they faithfully attended Door Creek Church. She enjoyed reading, television and visiting with relatives. She will truly be missed. Lois is lovingly survived by her sister, Helen Cummins of Oconomowoc; sister-in-law, Mary Anderson; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Ethel; her husband, Clinton; her brothers, Walter and Wallace; and sister, Aurora (Norman) Denney.
