Malinda H. Schure

The Lord called Malinda H. Schure to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the age of 104 years. The family will receive relatives and friends at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ashippun, WI on Saturday January 18, 2014 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM. Malinda was born December 14, 1909 in the Town of Ashippun. Daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth Wolter. She was baptized into the Lutheran faith at her home on January 4, 1910. Malinda was confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ashippun in 1923. On May 16, 1936 she was united in marriage to Clarence Schure at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ashippun. Malinda farmed with her husband Clarence for most of their married years. After her retirement, she enjoyed cooking, baking, playing cards and attending monthly gatherings with her friends at the Ashippun Forever Young club. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Malinda was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Ashippun and their Ladies Aid group. She will be greatly missed by her loving family including her daughter Marian (Lawrence) Schoenike, her son Allen (Sara Ann) Schure. Grandchildren: David Schoenike, Nancy (Michael) Paton, Mark Schoenike, Brenda (Michael) Fakes and Daryl (Kimberly) Schure. Great-grandchildren: Tyler and Carly Paton, Eli and Anna Schoenike, Marissa & Erika Fakes and Bryce & Brooke Schure. Sister-in-Law Arlene Hesselink, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents Arthur and Elizabeth Wolter, her husband Clarence on April 1, of 1982 her brothers Leonard, Rheinard and Arthur. Memorials if desired may be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church of Ashippun, Angles Grace of Oconomowoc, or charity of one’s choice. The Pagenkopf Funeral Home is assisting the family.
