Margaret "Marce" Aicher

Margaret “Marce” Aicher passed away peacefully on July 21, 2021 at the age of 87. Marce was born on August 21st, 1933 in Ottumwa, Iowa to John Frederick and Margaret Elizabeth Foxx. Marce worked at Milwaukee Electric Tool where she met her husband, Paul. She was united in marriage to Paul Francis Aicher on July 2, 1960. Marce later worked as an administrative assistant at St Luke’s/Good Samaritan and the Medical College of Wisconsin. Marce was a devoted Catholic and member of St Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Nashotah, WI. Marce is survived by her children, Dr. Thomas Daniel (Ora) of Ann Arbor, Dr. David John (Elizabeth) of Wausau, Timothy Alexander (Noel) of Delafield and Daniel Paul (Christine) of North Lake; and her grandchildren, Dr. Brittany and Anthony (Dave and Elizabeth), Dr. Christopher and Joseph (Tom and Ora), Natalie, Nicole, Kayla, Alaina, Melanie (Tim and Noel) and Paul, Allyson, Luke (Dan and Christine); and her great-grandchild Peter Benjamin. She is preceded in death by her husband; and their son, Anthony John; and her siblings, Dorothy Marie, Robert Joseph and Mary Ann. Marce was blessed with parents and siblings that valued family and faith, she was close to her siblings throughout their lives and instilled the same values in her children. She put the needs of her family and her children above her own, working and sacrificing to provide opportunities and comforts she had never known. Despite her health issues in her last days she would always be concerned about whether her kids, or grandchildren were doing well in school, careers and life. Marce was a notoriously generous gift giver, a huge fan of ice cream and loved to catch up with friends during happy hour. After Paul, her husband passed away in 2001, Marce committed herself to becoming more involved in the community, joining the Oconomowoc Women’s Club and sharing her talents at St. Joan of Arc. She would be pleased to see any generosity directed to her parish. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 30th at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 120 Nashotah Road in Nashotah. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Following mass, everyone is welcome to join in a Celebration of Life reception at the Delafield Hotel, 415 Genesee street in Delafield.
