Margie Mae Gersdorf

Margie M. Gersdorf, age 88, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 28, 2019. She was born on September 19, 1930 to Elsie and Leonard “Tiny” Evers in Randall Valley, South Dakota. Margie was most recently employed at Maranatha Baptist University. She loved her Lord, her family, and church. She excelled in track and field when she was younger, qualifying for the Olympics in high school. Margie is survived by her three daughters, Cheryl Bryan, Kristie Gersdorf and Linda (Jim) Stevens, 8 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown with Pastor Jon Anderson officiating. Memorials may be given in Margie’s name to Faith Baptist Church of Oconomowoc.
