Marilyn was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She appreciated nature, enjoyed the simple things in life, and lived joyfully. She was hard-working, honest, moral and genuine. Her life always revolved around her family. What she loved most about being a mother was watching her children grow and always being there for them. She graciously watched all of her grandchildren at one time or another. Being an Admitting clerk at West Allis Memorial Hospital for over 25 years was challenging at times, especially while raising five children. She was a woman of great faith. She looked forward to reading the Bible every morning and attending church every Sunday, especially at Christmas time. She attended and volunteered in the church office and loved playing in the bell choir at Zion UCC for 57 years, before moving to Oconomowoc where she attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church for the past 8 years. She proudly served our Country by being an Election Inspector for many years. She enjoyed playing Christmas songs on the piano, canning and freezing vegetables from her garden, baking bread, Hershey bars and schaulm torte. Her favorite pastimes were playing Skip-Bo with her family and welcoming help finding words in Word Search. She loved to travel so much that she visited all 50 states, and Ireland as well. Her favorite shows that she watched daily were the Price Is Right, Wheel of Fortune, Andy Griffith, and Lawrence Welk. Most of all, she loved The Lord and taught us how to love Him as well. She touched the hearts of all who knew her and will be missed dearly.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in memory of Marilyn.
