MARILYN JOYCE FELD
Marilyn Joyce Feld (nee Foose) entered eternal life peacefully at the age of 94 on July 19, 2024.
She was born in Milwaukee and moved to Okauchee Lake after high school where she met her husband of 38 years, Raymond Feld.
Marilyn’s favorite place was the lake home she lived in for 64 years. Here she enjoyed countless sunsets, gardening, and watching her family grow and make memories.
At the age of 62 Marilyn along with her daughter, Robin, started a successful retail business. After she retired, she spent many years volunteering at the Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital gift shop where she not only made many new friends, but quickly became their best customer.
Marilyn loved hosting holidays. At Christmas, the entire extended family would come to stay. She always made the holiday special by going the extra mile to make it memorable by preparing her signature recipes and baking up to 40 different varieties of cookies which she shared with family and friends.
She was a loyal fan of the Packers and especially the Brewers following them from the days of Hank Aaron, as well as a devoted viewer of the Young and the Restless for over 50 years.
Marilyn will be remembered by her family, friends, and neighbors for her quick wit, generous and positive spirit, resilience, and fierce independence.
She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond E. Feld, son Mark Feld, father Clarence Foose, mother Clara Meier (nee Mellor), and sister Phyllis Wood.
Marilyn is survived by her daughters Christy Klein (Charlie) and Robin Feld, son Todd Feld (Jayne), brother Gary Meier, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
In remembrance of Marilyn’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Angel’s Grace Hospice.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the fall.
