Marion Meyer

Marion Meyer, of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2011. Marion is survived by her sister-in-law Marge Meyer, nieces Jean (the late Eugene) Schlosser, Peggy (John) Harwood and Charlene (the late Michael) Cary, nephews Robert Rediske, Edward (Kay) Meyer and Daniel Meyer. Also survived by many loving great and great-great nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. Marion is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Sarah (nee Reddin) Meyer, sister Lucille Rediske, brother Edward Meyer and nephew Fred Rediske. Marion was born in Milwaukee, WI on December 2, 1917. She spent most of her working years as an employee at First Wisconsin Bank in Milwaukee. She was a longtime member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and was actively involved in many parish activities. Marion's love of God and family was evident in her daily life. She was proud of her Irish heritage, loved traveling and lived life with great enthusiasm. Funeral services for Marion will be held at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 812 North Jackson Street, Milwaukee, WI, on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will take place from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. The family would like to thank the Neurological Unit at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and the staff at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc for their support and compassionate care.
