Marjorie Elizabeth Shipley

Marjorie Elizabeth Shipley (nee Armour) died on Memorial day, May 28, 2023 after a brief residence at Angel's Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc, WI. She was 80 years old.

She was born in Elkton, MD and grew up on the Easterm Shore of Maryland with her brother, Clifford A. Armour, Jr., her mother Dorothy E. Armour (nee Goodnow), and her father C. Arnette Armour, Sr. She graduated from North East High School in 1961, earned a Bachelor's of Science at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and became a registered nurse.

Her nursing career spanned over fifty years, and lead to positions of leadership in pediatrics, surgical care, home health and hospice, where she found a professional home for over thirty years.

Marjorie met Lanny Shipley in Baltimore, married in 1966, and had two children, Scott and Stephanie.

She is survived by her daughter Stephanie (David), son Scott, and nephew, Randy Armour (Dana), and grandnephew, Ryan Armour.

The family will hold a memorial service in North East, Maryland at a date to be determined.
