Marjorie 'Margie' Ann Inscore (nee Rasmussen) passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, surrounded by family and friends after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. Born in Milwaukee August 31st 1934, she was the only child of Otto H and Charlotte K (Walther) Rasmussen; both preceded her in death. She spent most of her childhood in Virginia and Wisconsin, but summers in Oconomowoc, and moved there permanently in 1970. Always a staunch advocate of those in need, she dedicated most of her life to volunteerism. As a young wife and mother, she gave many hours to the Jefferson County Easter Seal Society, and was a longtime Watertown Jayette, involved in many community benefit activities. After moving to Oconomowoc, she began work at Waukesha County Volunteer Services, eventually becoming the program coordinator. She retired in 1998 after spending more than 25 years in this capacity. After retirement, and until 2014, she volunteered her time at the Oconomowoc Food Pantry. She is survived by her four children: Pamela (Weitkamp) McComas, Kathy (Inscore) Glish, Michael Inscore, and Janine (Inscore) Grill and her grandchildren Hage Inscore, Hannah and Logan Grill. She is also survived by her best friend and life partner Jay Potter. A memorial service will be held at the First Congregational Church of Christ (815 S. Concord Road, Oconomowoc,) on Friday, April 28 at 6 pm. Family and friends my call upon the family starting at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests gifts to the Watertown Animal Shelter.
