Mark A. Solveson

Mark A. Solveson, age 59, of Oconomowoc, WI, passed away with his wife by his side on Tuesday, September 04, 2018. Mark is survived by his loving wife Debra of 32 years; his children Brock (Bianca) Solveson and Samantha Solveson; his grandchildren Spencer, Elliott and Jordy; his mom Mabel Solveson; his brothers Keith, Randy and Brian (Dorothy) Solveson along with many more family and friends. Mark is preceded in death by his father Maurice Solveson. Mark grew up on his family farm in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and loved working the land. Mark and Debbie were married and built their home on the family land in 1985. He spent his career working at Ralph's Auto center and was there for over 35 years. He was an extremely hard-working and loving husband, father, papa, and friend to many. He always put everyone else before himself and was willing to do anything for anyone. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren who he called his 'little buddies'. Although his retirement was cut short due to his illness, he continued to work with his hands and spend time with his loved ones, all while keeping a smile on his face. He will be deeply missed by his family and anyone that had the privilege of knowing him. We all know he will be watching over us from above. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, September 08, 2018 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church (W653 Roosevelt Rd, Rubicon). A visitation will be held from 12 pm until 2:45 with the service starting at 3 pm.
