Mark Alan Hanson

Mark Alan Hanson, age 65, passed away on August 5, 2020 at AngelsGrace surrounded by his family. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on December 30, 1954 to Robert and Joanne Hanson. Mark and Andrea met in San Diego, CA in 2016 and married in 2018. He retired from the trucking business and they moved back to Wisconsin that same year to help take care of his mom. He enjoyed retired life. Mark was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Packers. He was a motorcycle enthusiast. He loved the beach and all the lakes that Wisconsin has to offer. He was a musician and loved to play the guitar. He was a “foodie” and loved classic cars. But most of all, he was a family man. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren very much. We will miss him greatly. Mark is survived by his wife, Andrea; children, Michael Hanson, Rebecca Hanson, Miranda (Robert) Castaneda, Paige (Michael) Kirk, and Evan Boas; grandchildren, Carter Castaneda, Thomas Castaneda, and Harper Kirk; mom Joanne; siblings, Michelle Luker, Leslie (Marc) Harris, Jeff (Dianne) Hanson, and Lisa Olson; along with many family and friends. Mark is preceded in death by his dad, Robert; and brother, Eric Hanson. A visitation will take place on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (1165 E. Summit Avenue, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) starting at 10:00am-12:00pm with a memorial service to follow. Pastor Wes Werner will be presiding.
