Martin "John" Stoesser

Martin "John" Stoesser (1945-2022) Passed away peacefully at home, with his wife by his side, on July 22nd after a brief illness. John was born and raised in Oconomowoc and became a Town of East Troy resident in the mid 1980s. John was preceded in death by his parents Max and Betty Jeanne (Ross) Stoesser; uncle Walter Stoesser; and mother-in-law Margot Schmitz. John is survived by his beloved wife Eleonore "Ellie" (Schmitz); daughter Elissa (Stoesser) Krauss; grandson Gavin Krauss; father-in-law Erich Schmitz; sister-in-law Shirley (Glenn) Glow; uncle Martin H. (Mary) Ross; and aunt Mary (Charlie) Holbrow. Further survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends, both here and in Germany. Many thanks to the wonderful team from ProHealth Care Home Hospice and the reliable first responders from East Troy Fire and Rescue. A private Christian service and burial will be held at Rosedale Cemetery in Cambria, WI. Memorials to the ALS Association-Wisconsin Chapter are appreciated.
