Mary Dolge

Mary Ann Dolge, a war bride from Ireland, died of natural causes Sunday, July 10, 2011. Born into the Robert McDowell family in Ballymena on September 8, 1924, she met Earl Dolge while stationed in Ireland, married, came home with him and called the U.S. her home for the rest of her life. Mary was predeceased by a brother, Robert, and then her husband in 2006. Although having no children of her own, for a time Mary cared for two doctor’s children. She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church of Oconomowoc and enjoyed people. Mary is survived by a sister, Emily, and brother, James. A 6:00 pm visitation and 7:00 pm service, officiated by Pastor Jim Stevens, will be held on Monday evening July 18, 2011 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc. Mary will be laid to rest at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to Faith Baptist Church of Oconomowoc building fund, 36107 Genesee Lake Road Oconomowoc, WI.
