Mary Guarniere

GUARNIERE, MARY K. (Nee Fitzgerald) Born February 16, 1919. Found peace Sunday, January 10, 2016. Age 96. Longtime resident of Green Bay and Oconomowoc since 2009. Beloved cousin of Kathy Kuhagen & Doug Stittleburg. Further survived by loving members of the Wojtecki family, other cousins and many friends. Special friend of Pat Bell, Nancy Conard, Helen Striegel and the late Bill Wren. Mary was a woman of strong faith and fierce independence. For many years, she was a clothing buyer at H.C. Prange Company. She valued the importance of style and color; she always dressed up and looked her best. She held fond memories and colorful stories of her beloved Packers players, coaches and the Lambeau family. Mary loved “the movies”, difficult crossword puzzles, a good book, Clark Gable, floral perfume, milk chocolate and all desserts. Memorial gathering at Pagenkopf Funeral Home on Saturday, January 23 from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm. Private entombment at Lac La Belle cemetery. Special thanks to Lake Country nursing staff for their care.
