Mary Margaret Voelker

Mary Margaret Voelker passed away peacefully on August 28, 2024 at the age of 80. Born on February 27, 1944, Mary was the beloved daughter of George and Adelle Josten, and the beloved wife of LaVern (Vern) Voelker for 49 years.

Throughout her life, Mary dedicated herself to caring for others, notably providing support as a caregiver to Vern in the last years of his life. Her kind and compassionate nature touched the lives of all who knew her, always radiating positivity and happiness.

She is survived by her loving children Meta (Eric Paller) Voelker and Jason (Jill) Voelker; grandchildren Jack and Lauren Voelker; along with many family and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Vern and parents.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Melissa Plotz, who was Mary’s caregiver in the last few months of Mary’s life. Melissa provided the same compassionate care that Mary had provided for Vern and many others in prior years.

Per family wishes, no services will be taking place. May her memory continue to bring comfort and joy to all who loved her.
