Mary Ottusch

Mary Ottusch, devoted wife and mother, died peacefully Tuesday, the 19th of March 2024 in Brookfield, Wisconsin at the age of 95.

Mary Jane Daul spent her childhood in Merrill, WI. Shortly after marrying John J. Ottusch of Milwaukee in 1953, Mary and her husband settled in Fox Point, WI where they raised two sons, John and Matthew. She loved gardening and enjoyed playing tennis. Mary was a long-time member and supporter of the Milwaukee Garden Club as well as the Milwaukee Art Museum. Family members will fondly remember her appreciative nature and homemaking talents (especially pie baking).

Mary is survived by John (Sonia) and Matthew (Laura), and four grandchildren John, Becki, Michael, and Elizabeth.

The family would like to thank Heartis Village staff who loved on Mary over the last four years and the nurses from Accent Hospice over the last few weeks.

A private service will be held at Wood National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, an Army veteran, who died in 1981.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Milwaukee Art Museum are appreciated.
