Mary "Peggy" Margaret Lauer

Mary 'Peggy' M. Lauer, age 92, of Oconomowoc, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, September 26, 2016. Peggy is survived by her children Terry (Kathy) Lauer, Scott (Marlys) Lauer, Charlene (Michael) Zwieg, Timothy (Renee) Lauer, Darlene (Gary) Millpointer, Marlene Haverkampf, Susan (Alan) Runyard and Tammy (David) Sauer; her grandchildren Todd Lauer, Jim (Julie) Lauer, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Moore, Scarlet (Mark) Hansen, Sarah (Mark) Rinehart, Luke (Brianna) Zwieg, Travis (Jenny) Lauer, Carie (Todd) Lauer, Angela (Phil) Jones, Ashley Millpointer, Shawn Potrykus, Nicole (Brandon) Behling, Dustin (Mallorie) Runyard, Dexter (Chelsey) Runyard, Calvin (Stacey) Sauer, Dillion (Tasha) Sauer and Sadie Sauer; 28 great grandchildren and her sisters Anita Kreuser, Phyllis Herbeck, Arlene Mifko and Dorothy (George) Collins. Peggy is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert of 67 years; her son Phil; grandchildren Christine Millpointer, Wade Lauer and Matthew Zwieg; along with her parents, sisters and brothers. Peggy loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. She enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, crocheting and doing puzzles. Peggy's grandchildren loved spending time with her at their cabin in Wild Rose, WI. Services will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home on Thursday, September 29. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 PM to 6 PM with a service following at 6 PM. A private family burial will follow at a later date Norwegian Cemetery in the town of Concord. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ixonia Fire Department or the American Diabetes Foundation. A special thanks to the staff from Wilkinson Woods and the staff at Vitas Home Hospice.
