Marylin M Meyer

Marylin M.Meyer nee Weisensel, age 87, of Delafield, WI, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. Beloved wife to Clarence and the late Kenneth Checkai. Loving mother of Patricia (Randall) Gnadt, Kenneth (the late Deborah) Checkai, Ignatius (Cheryl) Checkai. Dear grandmother of Michelle (Matthew) Fischer, Christopher (Stephanie) Gnadt, Joseph (Marissa) Gnadt, Anton Gnadt, Sabrina (Jason) Messer, Joshua (Clarissa) Checkai, Sarah Checkai and great-grandmother of Kinsey and Sofie Fischer, Jackson Gnadt, Danial, Jaxon and Evalynn Checkai. Sister to Donald, Ignatius, Arnold and Adrian. Marylin is preceded in death by her parents Ignatius and Ellanora, sisters Cyrilla, Marita and Magdalen; her brothers Marcellus, Linus, Bernard and Leon and her granddaughter baby Rissa. Marylin was a generous, loving, compassionate lady. Among her many acts of selflessness, she gave up going to high school to care for her ailing grandparents, put aside her interest in art to work and help support her family and welcomed into her home relatives and friends who needed a place to live. She was an angel and will be deeply missed. Thank you so much to the staff at ManorCare and Heartland Hospice for their wonderful care of Marylin and their kindness to our family. Visitation Friday, July 15, 2016, 9 AM to 11 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Nashotah, Wisconsin, with Mass of Christian Burial to follow.
