Michael Adamec

Adamec, Michael M. Took his last ride to heaven on August 25, 2017 at the age of 63. Mike leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years Kathy (nee Day) and ‘favorite’ daughters Sarah Holbert (Walter III) and Mindy Eichinger (Terry, Jr.). Proud papa of Shelby Holbert, Cole and Alana Eichinger. He was brother-in-law to Chris Day, Ed (Jan) Day, Patty (Mike) Kuczewski and Uncle Mike to numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mike was the youngest son of Melvin and Elaine Adamec. Brother of Sandy (John) Eppers, Greg and half-brother Arthur High. He was preceded in death by his father Melvin, brother Greg, son-in-law Wally and in-laws Jack and Marilyn Day. Mike also leaves behind several close friends whom he considered family. The family would like to thank the phenomenal and compassionate staff of Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin St. Joseph’s Hospital and Kraemer Cancer Center West Bend and Affinity Visiting Nurses; especially Dr. Eric Olafsson, Dr. John Burfeind, Dr. Christopher Mueller, Dr. Marci Berger, Trisha Willis and home care nurse Jaymi for their kindness, support and the care he received. Mike grew up in West Allis and attended West Allis Central High school. He was a truck driver and construction laborer by trade until his retirement in March 2015. In his spare time he loved to hunt, fish, golf, family vacations and ride motorcycles. He also collected and restored antique Allis Chalmers tractors and plows. Per Mike’s wishes, a private service is being held. Mike’s favorite motorcycle ride was thru Bear Tooth Pass, WY. Next summer, the family will fulfill his last wish and take him on one final ride thru the PASS. Good bye to ‘The Legend’. You will always be our ‘Road Boss’ thru life.
