Michael D. Curley

Michael David Curley passed into eternal life on Monday, December 17, 2018 at the age of 65. Leaving us all too soon, he was surrounded by loved ones in his final moments. Beloved son of and survived by his mother, Patricia Madden (nee Mahoney) and stepfather, Robert. Loving husband of 39 years to Connie (nee Garcia) and adored father to Catherine (Gabriel Velez) Curley, Marisa (Cesar) Belmontes and Sarah Curley. Cherished brother to Patrick (Anne DeLeo) Curley, Maripat (Gene) Koncki and Margaret DeMore. His nieces and nephews, other relatives, and countless friends loved him dearly. Preceded in death by father, David Curley, as well as father-and mother-in-law, Alvaro and Leonor Garcia. Michael was an exceptional man, full of warmth, compassion, and a great sense of humor. There was nothing he loved more than his family, his books, baseball (especially his beloved Milwaukee Brewers), the lake, and his dogs. Spending time with his family and friends was a big part of what made his too-short life a happy and full one. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the staff of ProHealth Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and UW Health University Hospital, Madison for all of their compassionate help and support. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, December 22 from 2:00 pm until 2:45 pm at St. Joan of Arc Church in Nashotah, WI. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 3:00 pm.
