Michael Glen Fischer

Michael Glen Fischer, age 54 of Hartford, entered into eternal peace guided by his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 with family by his side. Mike is survived by his loving wife and best friend Gail Fischer, children Nicole (Josh) Hay and Joshua (fiance Trisha Weninger) Neu, parents Glen and Veronica Fischer, sisters Arla Fischer, Kathy (Larry) Stein and Patty (Dave) Weglarz, brother Rodney (Jeanie) Fischer, grandchildren Braydin and Jaelyn Hay, parents-in-law Jerry and Donna Marks, brothers-in-law Keith (Chris) Marks and Troy Marks, sisters-in-law Brenda (Mike) Winter, Wanda (Jeff) Schinner and Jackie (Jerry) Tracy, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mike was preceded in death by grandparents Frances and Clifford Faucher and Mary and John Fischer. A memorial service for Mike will be on Thursday, Feburary 7, 2013 at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta in Monches, WI (S.E. corner of Hwys Q, K and E) at 7:00 p.m. Visitation for family and friends will be at the church from 4:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Fischer family or American Brain Tumor Association. People closest to Mike would say he lived life to the fullest, cherishing the little things: music, cars, camping, ice fishing, and 4-wheeling. He was a hard worker who loved spending time with family and friends, but most of all taking care of his wife and dog Wiley.
