We are heartbroken to share the passing of our beloved Michael Mensinga. He passed away peacefully at home on April 2, 2023. Michael was born on April 18, 1988, to William Mensinga and Jeanine Kowalski-Johnson in Pewaukee, Wisconsin.
Michael experienced 12 years of Pewaukee schools to their fullest. He developed friendships, many beginning in the early grammar school years, that have lasted through college and beyond. He continued his education at the University of Minnesota where he earned his BA in Political Science and French Studies. He was blessed with three opportunities to visit France to further his knowledge of the country, speak their language, and nurture new friendships abroad.
Michael enjoyed a five-year career in business development and employer relations at Carlson School of Management while earning his International themed MBA. He was a passionate Human Resource Professional.
Michael was a Food Enthusiast! His planning, preparation, and presentation of a gourmet meal was impeccable, not to mention delicious. He had an extreme love for dogs (Winston) and horses (Damian). He enjoyed the water from sailing to speed boats, to his love for the Titanic. But most of all Michael loved people. He was a true and loyal friend.
There are good ships
There are wood ships
There are ships that sail the sea
But the best ships are friendships
And may they ever be
