It is with great sadness that we announce Michael Adam Villegas, 50, of Pewaukee, formerly of Watertown, passed away on February 5th, 2025.
Michael Villegas was born on January 10, 1975, in Watertown, WI to Sixto and San Juanita (deceased) Villegas. He had one sibling, Sixto O. Villegas.First and foremost, Michael was a devoted father to Josie, Amelia, and Nolan Villegas.
His immense love, dedication, and admiration for his children was always present and truly shined.Michael loved sharing his love of music and art with his children, introducing them to new music through vinyl records and maintaining an ever-evolving custom playlist with favorite songs. He spent hours drawing and doing crafts with his kids, and instilled a love for art that will live on with them throughout their lives. Michael also loved spending time with his children playing board games, playing at the park, swimming, and volunteering at their school.
Michael cared deeply about his parents, brother, Rebecca Evenson, the Evenson family, close friends Andrew Smith and Shannon Schweitzer, cousin Tory Jaeck, many extended family members, and the Prairie Hill families. He also held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Alex (Sierra), Abbygail, and Aden Villegas, and his great-niece Oaklynn Grace and great-nephew James Sixto for whom he was always there with a listening ear or funny joke. He was funny, direct, caring, and passionate in his close relationships with others.
Michael was also a very talented artist. One would always find him sketching in his book of ideas, on his Ipad or anything else that he could express himself upon. His artwork reflected his take on life, his smart wit, and was always concise, expressive, and full of color. He enjoyed sharing his passion with the world and inspiring others through Instagram and editorial work.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at the Pagenkopf Funeral Home 2228 Silver Maple Ln., Oconomowoc, WI 53066, Friday, February 21, 2025, from 4-6 p.m., with a meal to follow.
