Mike Lane

Mike Lane, age 59 of Delafield Wisconsin passed away on June 23rd peacefully, at home per his wishes. Mike is survived by the love of his life Mary (Nee Tubbs) and they were married on 7/31/82; his daughter Noelle (Brian) Deehr, and their children Camden and Livie May; daughter Brittany (Mike) Amidei and their children Cayden and Paisley and son Jacob (Jessica) and their children Lucas, Landon and Levi. Mike loved his family above all, with hockey and the Rolling Stones as close seconds. Mike graduated from Sun Prairie HS in 1976 where he excelled as a hockey goalie. Wanting to share his passion and talent he started his own successful business teaching goalies through private lessons, clinics, camps and coaching teams. An additional outcome he hadn’t planned on was that he actually shaped countless young lives through his positive and motivational messages that reached far beyond the rink. He leaves behind a hockey legacy that will be felt for years to come. He will be missed more than words can say. A “Celebration of Life” will be held on July 7th from 4-7pm at the Oconomowoc Community Center, 220 W Wisconsin Ave, Oconomowoc.
