Mildred "Millie" Mengel

Mildred “Millie” Mengel, age 83 of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, July 4, 2019. Millie is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Jack, her children Debra (Kim) Thiede, Mike (Kathy) Mengel, Kenneth Mengel and Janet (Ray) Ross. Her grandchildren Timothy (Mandy) Ziehm, Danielle Thiede, Cori Thiede, Natalie Mengel, Allison Mengel, Cassia (Brad) Fox and Lucas (Quincy) Harenda along with her great-grandchildren Mckenna Ziehm, Colin Ziehm, Aliyah Fox, Jameson Fox and Maggie Harenda. Millie was preceded in death by her parents Norbert and Mildred Reinke, sisters Nancy Reinke and Joan Lange. Millie liked to travel with Jack, spending time up at their cabin and vacationing to Branson MS. Most of all she loved spending time and being with her family. Millie will truly be missed by her family and everyone that knew her. A funeral service for Millie will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc. A time for fellowship and stories will be held after the service in the church fellowship hall. A private burial will be held at Highland Memorial Park on Friday for the family. Memorials are suggested to Lord of Life Church in Millie’s honor.
