Mildred “Millie” V. Kopfer, age 89, was born to Eternal Life peacefully on December 27, 2023, surrounded by her family at AnglesGrace Hospice. She was born on March 16, 1934 to Franklin and Malinda Wegner in the Town of Oconomowoc.
Millie is survived by her children, Lynn (Terry) Clemans, Wendy (Paul) Egholm, John (Angela) Kopfer, Ross (Lisa) Kopfer; her grandchildren, Carissa (Eric) Brittenham, Amanda (Jordan) Atlas, Jenna (Andrew) Clemans, Nathan (Jacqui) Egholm, Zack (Jessica) Clemans, Shauna Clemans, Jordan Kopfer, Taylor (Anthony) Hurley, Sarah Kopfer, Mary Claire Kopfer, Jacob Kopfer; her great-grandchildren, Emma, Kendall, Connor Brittenham, Charlotte, Lorelai, Sadie Atlas, Colton, Quinn Clemans, Grace and Anna Egholm; siblings; Dianne (John) Wagner, Franklin (Doris) Wegner, Caroline (Ray) Weimer and a brother-in-law Ken Pfeifer and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings; Hubert Bergman, Erline Wegner, Ardell Pfeifer, Milton Wegner and Darlene Wegner.
Millie and Roger were married happily for over 69 years and after 11 months apart are reunited again in Heaven. Their love was like no other. Mildred enjoyed polka dancing, golfing and sheepshead. Mildred loved spending time at any event of one of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including sporting events and concerts.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church in Ashippun, with a visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. A meal will follow the service at church.
Memorials may be made in Mildred’s name to Angels Grace Hospice.
The family would like to thank her caregivers and the staff at Towner Crest, The View, and Angels Grace Hospice.
