Milton Guenterberg, age 86, of Oconomowoc, found peace on Saturday, February 13, 2010 after a long illness of Leukemia. Milton is survived by his loving wife Dorothy (nee Neuman), children Barbara (John) Quill and Myron (Nancy) Guenterberg, grandchildren Sherrie (Don) Reuter, Daniel (Rachel) Quill, Tom (Wendi) Guenterberg, Paul (Evie) Guenterberg and Laurie (Daniel) Cole, great grandchildren Kati, Ryan., Paige, Chloe, Benjamin, Allyson, Mason and Naomi, brother Melvin Guenterberg, sister Ella Liermann, sisters-in-laws Marion Dzomba, Evelyn Maas, Marilyn Neuman and Dianne Neuman, brothers-in-laws Ronald and Norbert Neuman, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Milton was preceded in death by one sister and one brother, sister-in-law Myrtle Guenterberg, brother-in-law Roger Dzomba and infant grandson James Quill. Milton started truck driving for Allard Express in 1952. He retired from Briggs Transportation in 1992. After retirement he drove school bus for Oconomowoc Transportation for 14 years and Rogers Memorial Hospital for 4 years. He was an active member of St. John?s Lutheran Church in Ixonia, WI for 60 years. Funeral services for Milton will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. at St. John?s Lutheran Church, W1204 Rockvale Road, Ixonia, WI. There will be an evening visitation on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. John?s Lutheran Church, Ixonia, WI. Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 following the service. Memorials are suggested to St. John?s Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid, WELS Committee on Relief or Missions.
