Murel Brown

Murel G. Brown born April 27th, 1931 in Newark, Ohio passed away March 21st, 2012 with his wife and son at his side. Murel served in the US Air Force from 1951-1955 achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. His military experience was followed by his enrollment in the Northrop Institute of Technology in Inglewood, CA, receiving his B.S. in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering in 1961. Murel married Olive A. Brutchey in Newark, OH in 1955. They spent the last 40 yrs of their life residing in Delafield, WI. They were happily married for 56 years. Murel is survived by his wife Olive (Brutchey); son, Michael G. (Ilynn) Brown; granddaughters Alyssa and Olivia Brown; in-laws Mary Belle Brutchey and Judith (Robert) Sterling, as well as many other relatives and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Brown. Friends and relatives may pay their respects Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm followed by a short Memorial Service at 6:00 pm.
