Neal Peter Luterbach

Neal Peter Luterbach, age 61, passed away at home peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on February 1, 2022. Neal was born in Milwaukee, WI on September 26, 1960 to John and Geraldine Luterbach (nee Zenner). Neal is survived by the love of his life of 37 years, Kris; his beautiful children, Erin (Preston Wahlers), Josh and Anna (Eric Chapman); father, John; siblings, Christine (Mike) Hodgden, Gary (Kelli), Jeannine (Mike) Rhyner, Alan (Carol) and Dale; along with many other family and friends. Neal is preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine; in-laws Marilyn and Bill Gast; sister, Tutti; and brother, Leon. Neal graduated from Catholic Memorial High School in 1980. He began working as a Laborer for John Luterbach Builders. Neal found he loved working in concrete and masonry and dedicated his career to this craft. In 1990, he designed and built our family home and enhanced it with the beautiful gardens he created. He loved celebrating Christmas and hosting large parties for each of life’s milestones. Neal was a dedicated and skilled outdoorsman, who loved to fish and hunt with family and friends. He was a quiet introspective soul, who didn’t say much but was always listening with a loving heart. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wildlife In Need Center in Oconomowoc in Neal’s name are appreciated. A visitation will take place on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (1165 E. Summit Avenue, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 10:00am-2:00pm with a service to follow.
