Norbert "Norb" G. Kucharski

Norb passed peacefully and with the love of countless family and friends on January 31, 2020, at age 77. Doubtless he is now holding court with other departed loved ones over an unlimited supply of Stone Creek coffee, ice-cold Guinness and Kindle downloads, and in a place where the walleyes are biting and smoking Swisher Sweets is always permitted. Survived by Judy, his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, and beloved father of Tom (Christine), Matt (Holly Grover) and Katie (Jim Sadorf). Proud “Papa” to Carah (David), Blake and Eric, and brother to Steve (Laura). Preceded in death by father George, mother Renata, brother Paul and infant sisters Valerie and Cheryl. Norb was a friend to all he encountered, whether sharing the results of his woodworking hobby, buying strangers coffee at Stone Creek, besting his buddies in impromptu fishing contests or volunteering at church and the Stone Bank Sportsmen’s club. Even in death, as it was in life, he’s still bringing strangers together. Visitation will be held Friday, February 7, from 1-4 p.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Nashotah.
